Steven Stamkos kept his recent scoring surge alive with a rocket of a one-timer midway through the second period of Friday's Eastern Conference Final Game 4 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Rangers.
Stamkos received a feed from Alex Killorn near the slot and blasted it past Henrik Lundqvist without hesitation to knot the contest at 1-1 11:30 into the second period. The goal was Stamkos's fifth in six games.
The Rangers didn't take long to regain the lead, with Chris Kreider scoring at 15:16 and Keith Yandle extending the advantage to 3-1 1:48 later.
