Marko Dano is limping into the summer months.
Representing his native Slovakia at the World Championship, Dano suffered a partially torn MCL in his right knee and will need four-to-five weeks to recover, reports Aaron Portzline the Columbus Dispatch.
Dano, who came on at the end of the year playing opposite veteran winger Scott Hartnell, is expected to be fully recovered in time for his sophomore season without surgical assistance.
He scored eight goals and 21 points in 35 games with the Blue Jackets, and finishes the tournament with one goal on 14 shots.
