After missing the final three games of Round 1, it appears defenseman Nathan Beaulieu will sit out the beginning of Round 2.
Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin confirmed Wednesday that Beaulieu will miss at least the first four games of the team's second-round series.
The 22-year-old has not played since Game 3 against the Ottawa Senators, when he suffered an upper-body injury after taking a crushing hit from Senators captain Erik Karlsson.
The Canadiens will play the winner of the Tampa Bay Lightning-Detroit Red Wings series.
Beaulieu has one assist in three games in the postseason.
