Michael Grabner's inability to contribute to the New York Islanders' playoff run may be due to injury.

The forward, who has been limited to two playoff games, is reportedly dealing with a groin injury that may require offseason surgery to fully repair, according to a newspaper report out of his native Austria.

Grabner, 27, was limited to 34 regular-season games with various injury issues, and has recorded one assist in under 24 minutes of total ice time through two playoff games against the Washington Capitals.
