Report: Islanders players delayed by Obama motorcade

The New York Islanders encountered Beltway traffic problems trying to get to Verizon Center on time for Thursday's Game 5 against the Washington Capitals.
Many Islanders players were delayed by a motorcade for President Barack Obama and had not arrived at the arena two hours before the game's scheduled start time, according to CSN Mid-Atlantic's Jill Sorenson. The tardy players arrived shortly after the residual traffic from the motorcade cleared.
The President spent the day welcoming the NFL's New England Patriots to the White House for a celebration of their victory at Super Bowl XLIX.
Thanks Obama.
