Petr Mrazek will remain the Detroit Red Wings starting goalie despite giving up four goals on 18 shots and being saddled with the loss in Game 2, head coach Mike Babcock confirmed.

Mrazek was brilliant in Game 1, making 44 saves and stealing a victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning, however, he was pulled after 40 minutes Saturday.

His series performance is relatively consistent with what he's offered all season, being on one night and off the next.

Jimmy Howard made 11 saves on 12 shots in relief.
