VIDEO: Oilers' Laurent Brossoit makes huge pad save on Sharks' Matt Irwin

Both the Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks may be playing for nothing, but it doesn't mean they aren't playing hard. 

Oilers goaltender Laurent Brossoit made his first career NHL start Thursday and he put on a show. 

Brossoit robbed Sharks defenseman Matt Irwin early in the third period with a big pad save after kicking out a rebound on a Tommy Wingels shot.

With tons of question marks surrounding the team's goaltending, Brossoit will surely want to show what he can do.
