Veteran referee Paul Devorksi blew the whistle for the last time Sunday afternoon.
The 56-year-old called his final NHL game in a contest between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Guelph, ON native reffed his first game back in 1989 and has since called seven Stanley Cup finals, the 2004 World Cup of Hockey, and the Gold Medal game at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
