Report: Stars' Jim Nill will be Canada's GM for World Championships

Dallas Stars general manager Jim Nill appears set have a busy start to his summer.

Once the Stars are officially eliminated from NHL postseason contention, Nill will be named GM of Canada's team at the 2015 World Hockey Championships set to take place in the Czech Republic, as reported by Elliotte Friedman during Saturday's "Headlines" segment on Hockey Night in Canada.

Nill has served as the Stars' GM since 2013, and could be in line to bring the likes of Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn along with him to Europe.

Canada has not won this tournament since 2007.
