Sidney Crosby continues to check the milestones off his career achievement list.

During the first period of Wednesday's game against the rival Philadelphia Flyers, Crosby notched the 300th goal of his career, becoming the fifth player in Pittsburgh Penguins history to hit that mark.

Crosby's 26th goal of the season increased his league-leading point total to 80, and boosted his chances of winning a third Art Ross Trophy.
