Blackhawks NCAA signee Kyle Baun 'an option' Monday vs. Kings

Kyle Baun could step right into the lion's den.
The newly-minted Chicago Blackhawks forward is considered an option for Monday's marquee matchup with the Los Angeles Kings, head coach Joel Quenneville told reporters.
The collegiate standout, who had his NCAA career come to an end this week when he signed a two-year deal with the Blackhawks, did not make make Sunday's trip to Winnipeg due to visa issues.
Baun, 22, scored 14 goals and 29 points as a junior with Colgate University and was named to the ECAC's third team.
