Tampa Bay Lightning forward Cedric Paquette left Saturday's game against the Detroit Red Wings with what looked to be a lower-body injury.

With just a couple minutes remaining in the game and the Red Wings up 3-0, Paquette tried to stop Justin Abdelkader from scoring an empty-net goal. In doing so, Paquette crashed into the net with his right leg hitting the post.

Luckily for Paquette, the injury doesn't look to be too serious. The first reports show that he did not suffer a fracture in the collision, according to TVA's Renaud Lavoie.

Paquette had to be helped off by teammates.
