Tom Wilson's bottom line is about to take a dive.
The Washington Capitals forward has been fined fined $2,000 under NHL Rule 64 (diving/embellishment), the league announced Friday.
The fine stems from an embellishment penalty assessed during a game on March 19 in Minnesota.

Wilson was issued a warning from the league earlier in March, triggering the fine on this second offense.
Further infractions will result in a bump in the valuation of the fine.
