The Anaheim Ducks are trying to clinch a playoff spot, while the Boston Bruins are trying to climb back into one.
Not making things easy for the Bruins is Ducks forward Patrick Maroon who scored a beauty goal Thursday to open the scoring.
Maroon picked up the puck at center ice and stepped around defenseman Matt Bartkowski before rifling a shot over the blocking glove of Tuukka Rask.
The goal was Maroon's ninth of the season.
