VIDEO: Jets' Pavelec robs Capitals' Kuznetsov en route to shutout
Bruce Fedyck / USA TODAY
Winnipeg Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec is on a mission to personally get his team into the playoffs.
The 27-year-old made 27 saves for his second shutout of the season, but no saves were as big as his stop on Washington Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov.
With just under five minutes left in the third period and his team clinging to a 1-0 lead, Pavelec made an unbelievable blocker-arm save on Kuznetsov to keep the goose egg intact.

With his second shutout of the season, Pavelec has now allowed just five goals in his last five games, going 4-1-0 with a .962 save percentage.
