Ken Hitchcock becomes 4th coach in NHL history to reach 700 wins

Ken Hitchcock has risen the ranks to become one of the most successful coaches in NHL history.

With a 1-0 shootout victory by his St. Louis Blues over the visiting Philadelphia Flyers, Hitchock became only the fourth coach in NHL history to reach 700 career wins.

He now sits fourth on the all-time wins list:

1. Scotty Bowman (1,244)
2. Al Arbour (782)
3. Joel Quenneville (745)
4. Ken Hitchcock (700)

Hitchcock is also a Jack Adams winner (2012) and has a Stanley Cup on his resume as coach of the Dallas Stars in 1999. 

This year's edition of the Blues are in line to challenge for his second Cup, while an induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame is likely in the cards post retirement.
