VIDEO: Canadiens' Markov nails Lightning's Morrow along boards

Andrei Markov still has some grit in his game.

The 36-year-old Montreal Canadiens defenseman caught Tampa Bay Lightning veteran forward Brenden Morrow with a massive hit along the boards late in the first period of Tuesday's game.

Morrow didn't seem to like the hit very much. He got tangled up with Canadiens forward Tomas Plekanec at the other end of the ice during the next stoppage in play, perhaps unaware it was Markov who hit him.
