Panthers' Gudbranson out Thursday due to illness
Erik Gudbranson will miss Thursday's game against the Stars due to flu-like symptoms, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Analysis:
The same goes for fellow defenseman Willie Mitchell, who was previously expected to make his return from an upper body injury. Alex Petrovic will likely slot into the lineup for Thursday's game, and the Panthers may need to recall a blueliner from AHL San Antonio. Gudbranson and Mitchell can both be considered questionable for Saturday's game against the Islanders.
