John Gibson was on his game Wednesday against the Montreal Canadiens, stopping 37 shots for the Anaheim Ducks.

Gibson's best stop might have been this blocker save on Max Pacioretty, who had a shorthanded breakaway late in the second period. Gibson stayed square with the Canadiens' leading scorer the whole way and calmly used his blocker to parry Pacioretty's shot.

Gibson's shutout bid was spoiled by Alex Galchenyuk on a power play late in the third period.
