Tyler Kennedy's debut with the New York Islanders will have to wait.
Acquired on Monday from the San Jose Sharks, Kennedy will miss Tuesday's game in Dallas with an upper-body injury.
Doesn't sound as if #Isles are considering voiding Kennedy trade. No time to do physicals with deadline-day deals.

Kennedy recorded four goals and five assists in 25 games prior to the trade.
