New Jersey Devils defenseman Damon Severson will play for the first time in two and a half months in Tuesday's game against the Nashville Predators.
Severson fractured his ankle on Dec. 15 and missed the next 31 games. He was originally expected to be out four-to-five weeks.
He registered 12 points in 32 contests prior to the injury, leading all rookies by averaging 23:01 in ice time.
