Anders Lee has been rewarded for a productive month.
The NHL announced Sunday that the New York Islanders forward has been named Rookie of the Month for February.
The 24-year-old recorded seven goals and eight assists in 15 games, clearly enjoying a line assignment alongside John Tavares in the absence of regular top-line winger Kyle Okposo.
For the season, Lee ranks fifth in rookie scoring with 33 points, well behind Nashville's Filip Forsberg, who sits on 52.
