The Arizona Coyotes still believe they have a major trade chip in defenseman Zbynek Michalek.
The veteran - progressing well from a concussion sustained this month - is attracting significant interest on the trade market, according to Coyotes general manager Don Maloney via ESPN's Pierre LeBrun.
Michalek has been absent from the lineup for the last two weeks. He has two goals and eight points, and leads the lowly Coyotes with a 5-on-5 Goals For percentage of 44.3.
