For Steve Mason and the Philadelphia Flyers, the punishment didn't fit the crime. 

Seven seconds into his first start in three weeks, the Flyers' No. 1 netminder had his Vesa Toskala moment, allowing this bouncing shot from center ice off the stick of New York Rangers forward Derek Stepan to skip on by.

Mason, though, was pardoned for his gaffe, as Chris Kreider's tardiness in leaving the Flyers' zone wiped the goal off the board.
