New York Rangers forward Rick Nash overtook Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin for the NHL goal-scoring lead on Saturday night, but Ovechkin took it right back on Sunday.
Ovechkin trailed Nash by one goal for the league lead entering Sunday's game against the Anaheim Ducks, but it didn't even take Ovechkin 11 minutes to leapfrog Nash with a pair of goals.
The Capitals star tied Sunday's game less than two minutes in with a shot right off the faceoff.
That gave him his 35th goal, and number 36 came about nine minutes later on the power play.
