Jay Beagle benefited from some timely interference by a linesman to score his second goal of Wednesday's game between the Washington Capitals and the San Jose Sharks.

Beagle received a long pass from John Carlson at San Jose's blue line midway though the third period and gained the zone along the boards, forcing the linesman into open ice. Sharks defenseman Mirco Mueller was attempting to cut Beagle off when he collided with the linesman, giving Beagle a clear path to Antti Niemi.

Beagle beat Niemi with a backhand deke to knot the contest at 3-3.
