Mike Richards is making the most of his AHL exile.
Richards - recently waived and reassigned to the AHL's Manchester Monarchs by the Los Angeles Kings - recorded a goal and two assists in a 4-1 win on Wednesday, highlights of which can be seen below:
"I’m getting used to playing with the same linemates, and getting to know them a little bit better," Richards said after the game. "I thought we made some plays tonight, but still have some things to work on."
How long Richards remains with the Monarchs is yet to be determined, as a call-up or trade could happen at any time.
