The Minnesota Wild have assigned goaltender Darcy Kuemper to the Iowa Wild of the AHL on a conditioning assignment, the NHL club announced Monday.
Kuemper missed seven games with a lower-body injury prior to making a flawless relief appearance in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings.
The netminder can remain with Iowa for a maximum of two weeks, according to Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
