Odds maker: Girgensons, Vrbata favorites to be picked last at All-Star fantasy draft

Jerome Miron / USA TODAY Sports

Who will join Logan Couture and Phil Kessel as NHL Stars treated to the indignity of being the very last pick at the infrequently held 2015 NHL All-Star fantasy draft on Friday?

Currently - as of 9:20 p.m. EST - hyper-anonymous Vancouver Canucks sniper Radim Vrbata and 20-year-old Buffalo Sabres center Zemgus Girgensons are the odds on favorites to be embarrassed and earn a car for their trouble, according to on-line sports book Bodog.ca.

Here are the full odds for who will be picked last at the 2015 All-Star fantasy draft:

Player Odds
Zemgus Girgensons (BUF) 4/1
Radim Vrbata (VAN) 4/1
Any Other Player 4/1
Patrik Elias (NJ) 5/1
Bobby Ryan (OTT) 5/1
Tyler Johnson (TB) 6/1
Phil Kessel (TOR) 9/1
Vladimir Tarasenko (STL) 15/1
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (EDM) 15/1
Tyler Seguin (DAL) 20/1
Patrice Bergeron (BOS) 25 1
Jakub Voracek (PHI) 25/1
Claude Giroux (PHI) 50/1
Alex Ovechkin (WAS) 75/1
Steven Stamkos (TB) 75/1
Ryan Johansen (CLB) 75/1
Anze Kopitar (LA) 75/1
John Tavares (NYI) 75/1

"Any other player" has pretty good odds, which probably reflects the fact that ex-Columbus Blue Jackets winger and current New York Rangers forward Rick Nash - who will be the clear villain of All-Star weekend - isn't individually priced out by Bodog.

As for who will be picked first, the odds on favorite is Sidney Crosby - who won't be playing. If we eliminate him and his 3/2 odds, it's Alex Ovechkin and Steven Stamkos who are the odds-on favorites to hear their names called first:

Player Odds
Alex Ovechkin (WAS) 6/1
Steven Stamkos (TB) 6/1
Ryan Johansen (CLB) 12/1
Duncan Keith (CHI) 12/1
Corey Crawford (CHI) 12/1
Shea Weber (NAS) 12/1
Anze Kopitar (LA) 20/1
John Tavares (NYI) 20/1
Phil Kessel (TOR) 20/1
Brent Seabrook (CHI) 30/1
Carey Price (MON) 30/1
Claude Giroux (PHI) 30/1
Patrice Bergeron (BOS) 30/1
Tyler Seguin (DAL) 30/1
Zemgus Girgensons (BUF) 30/1
Jakub Voracek (PHI) 40/1
Vladimir Tarasenko (STL) 40/1
Jaroslav Halak (NYI) 80/1
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (EDM) 80/1
Ryan Suter (MIN) 80/1
Tyler Johnson (TB) 80/1
Bobby Ryan (OTT) 80/1
Marc-Andre Fleury (PIT) 80/1
Roberto Luongo (FLA) 80/1
Mark Giordano (CAL) 80/1
Brent Burns (SJ) 80/1
Dustin Byfuglien (WPG) 80/1
Erik Johnson (COL) 80/1
Justin Faulk (CAR) 80/1
Kevin Shattenkirk (STL) 80/1
Patrik Elias (NJ) 80/1
Radim Vrbata (VAN) 80/1
Oliver Ekman-Larsson (PHO) 80/1
Any Other Player 30/1

We like Ryan Johansen at 12/1 odds here - especially if Team Foligno is picking first.

Although, it's tough to ignore the Blackhawks skaters. If Team Toews gets first pick, you just know Captain Serious is tapping a teammate.
