The Ottawa Senators have made an emergency call-up in light of a hand injury to starting goalie Craig Anderson.
The club has recalled Andrew Hammond from the AHL's Binghamton Senators, as first reported by Brent Wallace of TSN.
Anderson led the Senators to a 4-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Jan. 21, and the team hasn't played since the commencement of the All-Star break.
Robin Lehner will get the start in Thursday's game against a returning Jason Spezza and the Dallas Stars, with Hammond serving as backup.
In 31 games, Anderson is 13-11-7 with a .927 save percentage and three shutouts.
