Penguins' Kris Letang misses Wednesday's game due to Rinaldo hit

Pittsburgh Penguins defender Kris Letang, who was tagged by a dangerous hit thrown by Philadelphia Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo on Tuesday night, was supposed to be a game-time decision for Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
He didn't even make it to that point though:

It's possible that, with the All-Star break just around the corner, the Penguins have decided to play it safe with their star defenseman. In 40 games this season, the 27-year-old puck-moving ace has scored nine goals and pitched in 32 points.
