Sharks' Mirco Mueller (wrist) activated from IR; reassigned to Worcester (AHL)
Matt Kartozian / USA Today
San Jose Sharks defenseman Mirco Mueller (wrist) was activated from injured reserve Tuesday and assigned to AHL Worcester for a conditioning assignment.
Analysis:
Mueller hasn't played since returning from the World Junior Championships, but his activation signals a return to the lineup after the All-Star break. He'll likely spend the next week in the minors to get back up to full speed before rejoining the Sharks.
