The KHL All-Star Game is generally a much more interesting event than its stodgy NHL counterpart.

That's mostly due to the KHL All-Star Game's relentless strangeness - fish head shootout goals! Mascot line brawls! - rather than the quality of the players involved.

Still, for fans of hockey comedy, it's a can't-miss event.

The KHL announced Thursday its rosters for the East and West All-Star teams, highlighted by former NHL stars Ilya Kovalchuk, Alexander Radulov, Sergei Kostitsyn and Jonathan Cheecho.
