After conceding nine goals over a two-game trip through Florida, the Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to have their No. 1 goaltender back Wednesday to close out the 2014 calendar season.
Jonathan Bernier is the anticipated starter for the Maple Leafs' New Year's Eve clash with the Boston Bruins, according to Sportsnet's Mike Johnson.
Bernier took part in the team's morning skate, afterwards declaring himself fit to return from his flu-like illness.
