Andre Burakovsky will be spending Christmas in Washington.
The rookie forward has been recalled from the AHL's Hershey Bears, Capitals general manager Brian MacLellan announced.
Burakovsky scored four goals and added nine assists in 26 NHL games prior to his brief minor-league assignment.
