The Chicago Blackhawks pulled off a showtime-quality fast break, in typical Patrick Kane fashion, late in the first period of Sunday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

With the seconds winding down in the first period, Kane jumped on a fortunate bounce at the offensive blue line and skated into the Maple Leafs' end on a 2-on-2 with teammate Kris Versteeg. Kane found the seam and got the puck to Versteeg, who made a tricky play to kick the puck to his stick and beat James Reimer with a nearly perfect wrist shot:

Kane to Versteeg BUZZER BEATER!!! Needed Gus Johnson to call this

That's a timely show, to be sure.
