Devils' Ryder a healthy scratch Saturday for 2nd time this season

New Jersey Devils forward Michael Ryder was not in the lineup for his club's warmup skate on Saturday, and is likely to be a healthy scratch for the second time this season on Saturday night against the Washington Capitals.
Ryder, 34, has scored four goals and totaled 14 points this season, but hasn't scored a goal in 20 games. In New Jersey's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning earlier this week, Ryder took two minor penalties in the third period and was called for diving in the second frame.
Hopefully Ryder takes this scratch better than he took the last one.
