Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Christian Ehrhoff's undisclosed injury has landed him on injured reserve, according to the team's website.
Ehrhoff will not be eligible to rejoin Pittsburgh's active roster until next Saturday. Fellow blue-liner Paul Martin was also listed on injured reserve.
The Penguins recalled defensemen Derrick Pouliot and Taylor Chorney from the AHL ahead of Saturday's game against the Florida Panthers. Chorney has 61 games of NHL experience, while Pouliot has yet to make his NHL debut.
"It's exciting," Pouliot told NHL.com. "I played last night, so I'm a little tired coming in, but it's exciting. I'm really excited to get it going."
