Jussi Jokinen's fantastic goal almost got lost in the insanity of Tuesday's 20-round shootout between the Florida Panthers and the Washington Capitals.
Jokinen was Florida's fourth shooter and needed to score after Washington captain Alex Ovechkin tallied to open the fourth round. He skated towards Braden Holtby and moved to his backhand for a one-handed Forsberg deke before scoring as he tumbled over the Capitals netminder.
The Panthers extended the shootout with goals in the seventh, 10th, 11th and 17th rounds before Nick Bjugstad scored the winner for Florida.
