Instead of shipping off to California with his teammates, David Krejci will be left at home to play some Oregon Trail.
The Boston Bruins center will not be heading out on a four-game road trip to California and Arizona, the club announced Saturday. Instead, he'll stay home in order to rehab an unspecified lower-body injury.
Krejci hasn't played since Nov. 18, and has missed a total of 13 games with an injury suffered back in training camp.
In light of the news, the Bruins will attempt to do battle out west without both their top center and their number one defenseman, Zdeno Chara.
