Newly acquired San Jose Sharks defenseman Brenden Dillon will debut on Saturday night against the Arizona Coyotes after all.
Dillon, 24, was traded from the Dallas Stars on Friday afternoon and while he made it to San Jose on time for the morning skate Saturday, his equipment did not.
Evidently the equipment did arrive and Dillon will make his Sharks debut on Saturday night. His presence in the lineup knocks fellow left-handed shooting defenseman Matt Irwin to the press box, according to David Pollak of the San Jose Mercury News.
