Hurricanes HC Peters decides to scratch Semin once again

Alex Semin will watch another Carolina Hurricanes game with some popcorn in hand.
Head coach Bill Peters has decided to sit the forward as a healthy scratch for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Kings.
Semin was removed from the lineup for a pair of games earlier in the season, but has failed to score a goal on only five shots in six games this month. He did record three assists, all at even strength.
The 30-year-old is in the second season of a five-year, $35-million contract with the Hurricanes.
