It was an odd incident, to say the least, but it wasn't like Ennis was swinging his stick in rage at the official, he was apparently trying to get his attention over some matter and the stick just hit the wrong spot. Ennis sits second on the Sabres with seven points, sad as that may sound, and he'll be in the lineup Saturday when the team faces the Penguins.
