Varlamov has started all seven of the Avs' games since returning from a groin injury Oct. 24. He's allowed three or fewer goals during each of those turns, but has only come out on the winning end on two occasions. His third win of the season could prove elusive again Tuesday, as the Canucks have looked like one of the best teams in the Western Conference thus far with an 8-4-0 record.
