Penguins recall D Scott Harrington from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL)

The Penguins recalled Harrington from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday.

Analysis:

With fellow defenseman Olli Maatta out for the next four weeks to recover from having surgery on his thyroid to remove a tumor, Harrington will return to the Pens roster to provide blue line depth. Maatta didn't get into the lineup during his first stint with the team this season, but did manage to record two assists in seven games with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
