Blackhawks' Marian Hossa records 1000th career point

Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa became the 80th player in NHL history to reach the 1,000-point plateau on Thursday night.

Hossa assisted on Jonathan Toews goal in the first period before reaching the milestone with a wraparound goal late in the third period against his former team, the Ottawa Senators.
He is fourth in points among players currently listed on NHL rosters, ranking behind just Jaromir Jagr, Joe Thornton, and Jarome Iginla.
