Penguins score 7 straight in rout of Devils

The New Jersey Devils led the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-1 at the eight-minute mark of the second period on Tuesday night. After that point, something happened.
The Penguins exploded for seven consecutive goals en route to an 8-3 victory over their Metropolitan Division rivals.
Evgeni Malkin sparked the comeback with a power-play goal, and Sidney Crosby added a pair as the Penguins lit the lamp four times in the second period, followed by three in the third.
Devils goaltender Cory Schneider was pulled after allowing five goals on 23 shots.
The Penguins improved to 5-2-1, while the Devils fell to 4-3-2.
