Each NHL team has either planned a moment of silence or showed support for the fallen soldiers in Canada this past week.
San Jose Sharks defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic wrote the initals of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo on his stick to honor the soldier who was killed in Ottawa on Wednesday.
