Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Andrej Sekera will play Tuesday's game against the Winnipeg Jets, the club has announced.

Sekera suffered an upper-body injury in a game earlier this season against the Buffalo Sabres after a scary collision with the end boards.

He will pair up with Justin Faulk on the blue line.

In 74 games last season, Sekera set career highs in both goals (11) and assists (33).
