Rangers tie franchise record with back-to-back goals 4 seconds apart
Adam Hunger / USA TODAY Sports
Everything was normal for the first 39 minutes, but the last minute of the second period between the New York Rangers and San Jose Sharks was anything but.
Alex Stalock let one slip through his pads, and then served Rick Nash a goal on a platter.
Martin St. Louis scored his first goal of the season on a jam play, and four seconds later, Stalock passed the puck up the middle to Rick Nash for his seventh goal.
Those two goals were scored 4 seconds apart! That ties a #NYR franchise record for fastest two goals!!
